Why a site about Japanese Beetles and their White Grub Larvae?

Now this site is recently new; so let me tell you why I created this Japanese Beetles site. I was in Home-Depot one day, searching for a new way to kill Japanese Beetles. I met several home owners who had trees and shrubs being attacked by Japanese Beetles. They were flustered and looking for ways to kill adult Japanese Beetles. My battle began three years ago, and I told them of my progress, and my observations, and they were interested. So I thought I can help other home owners by detailing out my steps and their results in controlling Japanese Beetles. Plus if you don't control the beetles, you get a lawn full of their larvae white grubs. Good bye lawn.

Controlling Japanese Beetle Tips.

Work with your Neighbors.

Getting rid of Japanese Beetles is not easy. As I you might have noticed from Japanese Beetle Articles, if you neighbors don't do their part, you will have a hard time controlling the infestation. You need to discuss your ideas about your yard's health, with your neighbors, and ask if they share the same basic needs as you do. Japanese Beetle infestations can wipe out a whole tree's foliage in very little time, so start early in the year with your discussion about teaming up on the killing Japanese Beetles.

Buy material early, Japanese Beetle Traps, Japanese Beetle Pesticides, Japanese Beetle books.

You should have the material information on ridding Japanese Beetles before they arrive. Haste makes waste is no truer than addressing trees dying from a Japanese Beetle infestation. You can overspend money, and under spend results. Your time is also worth a lot to you, so don't waste it. Japanese Beetle traps, need to catch the early beetles, before they make it to your trees and shrubs. This way you can minimize how much pesticides you need to control the swarms. Remember, if you buy early, you can take advantage of end of season sales and no be bother by shortages that usually result in panicky home owners buying up anything and everything, hoping they can save their landscapes.

Well Placement of Japanese Beetle Traps

You need to not be the only neighbor using Japanese Beetle Traps. A proper number and placement of these traps is needed to effectively work in reducing the number of Japanese Beetles. If you are the only user of these traps, then forget it. You will attract more beetles to your property. Not all beetles attracted to your property will make it to the traps, but might settle out on your trees and shrubs. If you still want to use traps, make sure your Japanese Beetle traps are place far away from any trees and shrubs, and keep track of the traps effectiveness. Are you catching Beetles? Are your trees and shrubs covered in Beetles?
