White Grubs and Japanese Beetles, OH MY!

2006 - New Year For Using Bayer Advanced™ Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate!

In 2005 I first found, Using Bayer Advanced™ Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate. I tried it, but it was already into the Japanese Beetle Season. After a few weeks, I saw a decline in the beetle population everywhere, but I saw a little more on my trees. Where some neighbors still had beetles, I shook my trees and found nothing. Oh, and my trees still had leaves.

One of my trees seems to be a dwarf plumb tree. The Japanese beetles love this tree, in previous years, 2004 and earlier, the tree almost seemed stripped bare of leaves, in 2005 the tree had enough leaves to gather energy for the winter, the mini-plum growth this year is the best so far. So to follow a good lead, I will be trying Using Bayer Advanced™ Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate again.

Using Bayer Advanced™ Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate, is not a cheap product, but one application is good for up to a full year. Although much of the protection still must be in the trees, and shrubs, I treated last year, I want to start a schedule of using Using Bayer Advanced™ Tree & Shrub Insect Control Concentrate in the early spring, so if the protection falls off at the end, it is during the winter months.

Wish me luck, I'll fill you in on how the Bayer's product works! So far, with a short season in 2005 using it, I was happy enough to buy more this year.
