White Grubs and Japanese Beetles, OH MY!

Moved Japanese Beetle Traps, and still coming!

Since the traps are working hard catching beetles, I started moving the traps further and further away from the effected trees. The initial idea was to get the beetles attacking my trees into the trap, so I place the Japanese Beetle Traps fairly close. Each day I moved them a little further way.

Results, it appears the number of japanese beetles on my trees and shrubs have been reduce, but my overall yard population has increased. It appears all the beetles in the neighbor hood have found my yard the best to hang out. I'm guessing what beetles aren't caught will be filling my yard with grubs. Very hungry white grubs. :(
